ATA/IDE Device Definitions

• ATA Device# = Device number of the ATA device
   ◊ Device Status = Currently connected or not 
   ◊ Name = Volume name of boot partition 
   ◊ Port = Internal or external
   ◊ Device Type = Disk, tape drive, etc.
   ◊ Capacity = Size of device, if appropriate
   ◊ Driver# = Driver number.  See Drivers report for more info
   ◊ Driver Type = IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics), etc.
   ◊ Product = Manufacturer’s product name
   ◊ ROM Revision = Manufacturer’s product revision
   ◊ Serial# = Manufacturer’s serial number
   ◊ Device Kind = Fixed/Removable.  In certain Macs, the device
              may be installed in a bay, and thus be removable
   ◊ Media Kind = Fixed/Removable
